For added flexibility, there is some overlap in grade groups

"Best of" Camp
Experience some of the best options that camp has to offer! Campers will spend each morning and afternoon participating as a small group in some of our most popular camp activities.
Options might include: lake toys, zipline, hayride to the farm, gagaball, archery and so much more!
Resident Camp: $895 (2024 rate - 2025 TBD)
Offered Every Week
Horseback Riding
Campers will spend a portion of each day caring for and riding the horses. They will learn about tacking up, grooming, and horsemanship as they develop skills in a centered riding style. Riders of all skill levels are welcome. Campers may ride in the arena and on trails. Advanced horseback riding is also offered on certain weeks.
During activity periods when they are not horseback riding, campers will be in small groups participating in general camp activities. Activities may include: lake toys, zipline, hayride to the farm, archery, and more!
Mini Camp
Experience the Fun of overnight camp without having to commit to a full week away. It is a great opportunity for campers who may not be ready for a full week, or for families looking to fit camp into an already busy schedule. Campers will spend each day participating as a small group in some of our most popular camp activities.

Advanced Horseback Riding
For skilled Dusky campers who want to advance their technique with the help of knowledgeable staff.
Campers wishing to do advanced horseback riding camp should sign up for regular horseback riding, then send a letter from a riding instructor noting that you have mastered cantering to info@campchestnutridge.org to move into advanced horseback riding
Rock and Raft
Campers will travel with experienced counselors to the mountains of West Virginia to spend 3 days and 2 nights rafting the Upper New River and rock climbing in the New River Gorge. These activities are lead by trained guides who provide all specialized equipment. No experience is necessary.
When campers are not in West Virginia they will camp in tents at camp.
