RACE DETAILS
Location: Camp Chestnut Ridge. Efland, NC
Date: Nov 21, 2026
Race Start Times:
9:30am - 1 mile Fun Run/Walk
10:00am - 5k run or walk
10:15am - 8 mile run
Race Route: The race will be run entirely on trails and camp roads (dirt and gravel). The course will feature rolling hills through old hardwood forests and go around a 10 acre lake. Water stations will be provided.
Walkers are welcome in 1 mile and 5K races.
NO Dogs or Strollers please.

Proceeds from the race will benefit ministries at camp such as the Chestnut Ridge Campership Fund which helps provide scholarships for children and youth in financial need, so that they can have positive camp experiences at Chestnut Ridge. By running in the race, you can help send a kid to camp this summer!
Online registration closes on November 20th
In-person day-of registration available
Cost before Nov 20th: $25 for 1 mile fun run/walk
$35 for 4 mile run or walk
$45 for 8 mile run
Cost after Nov 20th: $30 for 1 mile fun run/walk
$40 for 4 mile run or walk
$50 for 8 mile run
Participants registering by Nov 9th will be guaranteed a race shirt.
Early packet pick-up and registration (if still available) will take place at Bull City Running on Nov 21st from 4pm - 6:00pm. Race day packet pick up and registration will start at 8:45am at Camp Chestnut Ridge.
REGISTRATION
Refund Policy:
In the event the race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Committee or Camp Chestnut Ridge such as but not limited to inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state or national emergency; public health emergency, all race entrants will be converted to virtual race options.
