A day with the horses
For the rider with some experience in the saddle, this is your chance to spend ALL day with the horses, improve your skills, try something new, and make friends.
This day camp is ALL day with the horses: trail and arena riding, learning horsemanship, horse crafts, and games!
OPEN TO ALL RIDERS IN 4TH GRADE AND UP who have ridden a horse on their own without someone else holding the horse. Riders will be placed in small groups based on skill level.
Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

1/2 Day With The Horses
Spend a Sunday afternoon with the horses
For the rider with some experience in the saddle, this half day camp is great for riders who want to get some time in the saddle and learn about horses! Campers will get to ride in the arena and on the trail(weather permitting) and will spend some time doing a horsemanship activity. Come out and make a new friend with 2 legs and 4 legs!
Time: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Cost: $75/rider

Halloween With the Horses
For Riders 18 and older
Join us for a costume trail ride!
Calling all adults who have ever wanted to dress up and decorate a horse. Join us Halloween morning for a costume trail ride! Dress up yourself and a horse and go for a ride on our trails. Come out and make a new friend with 2 legs and 4 legs!

Spring Break Horse Camps 2026
Need something fun to do while school is out? Come spend time with the horses!
Learn horsemanship and horse care, ride ,make horse crafts and play horse games during this half or full day camp.
For grades 3-5:
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
$65
For grades 6-10:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
$115
Intersession & Spring Break Horse Camps follow the Orange County school schedule. For grades 3-5, this is a half day camp but full day care is available. Please register for spring break day camp as well as spring break horse camp if you need all day care.

WAIVER
Party attendees should already have a basic knowledge of horses and riding though it is not a requirement to have taken lessons at Chestnut Ridge.
