Hi! My name is Ainsley and I’m from Durham, NC. This will be my third year working at Chestnut Ridge although I have been spending my summers here for 3 years before this. I love being outside, playing violin, reading, and playing and watching sports. I can’t wait to meet everyone this summer!

Hello! My name is Alexandria, and I’m from Burlington, NC. I’m a rising senior at East Carolina University, majoring in Public Health, and this will be my first summer at Chestnut Ridge! I’m super excited to spend the summer in nature and be part of such a wonderful community. Some things I enjoy are singing, dancing, working out, crocheting, and doing crafts. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make lots of fun memories together this summer!

Hi, my name is Audrey and I’m so excited for camp! I am from Hillsborough, NC, and I am attending NCSU in fall of 2026. Nature is my favorite place to be, especially while swimming, dancing, or horseback riding. This is my first summer being a counselor but I’m no stranger to Camp Chestnut Ridge, I’ve been going since I was in 2nd grade and work occasionally in caretaking with the camps’ horses on weekends. I can’t wait to get dirty and make friends this summer!

I'm Brooklyn and I cant wait to meet y'all! This will be my second summer here at camp though I was camper in 2019. Some of my favorite camp activities include the hoedown, swimming in the pool, and Gaga Ball. When I'm not at camp I love photography, art, and spending time outdoors. I currently study aviation, and plan to pursue either engineering or nursing. In my free time, I like to be outside, learn new things, and creating. I can't wait for this summer!!

My name is Hannah! This is my fourth summer, but I'm here all year helping with horses and afterschool. My favorite activities are being at horses, tree-climbing and morning worship. Outside of camp I enjoy playing the violin, volunteering at my Church and I'm studying elementary education. I also love photography and flying planes! I can't wait to have another summer of making memories and meeting new friends at my favorite place!

I'm both a History and French Major and I work at the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life on campus. For fun I play the trumpet, and dungeons and dragons. I'm excited to spend the summer outdoors, I always loved summer camp growing up, especially taking hikes and canoeing/kayaking. i can't wait to see everyone this summer!

This will be my third year working at camp. I currently attend UNCP as an art major, and I enjoy seeing how people of all ages interpret and create art. At camp, I love bracelet making and any water activities. I’m excited for this summer!
