This will be my second year as a staff member, and I could not be more excited! I love exploring, dancing, and swimming. I can't wait to meet all of you! :))

Hi Y'all, I'm Alex. I'm from Hillsborough, North Carolina. This will be my first summer working at camp; however I attended afterschool and summer programs since Kindergarten. I currently live overseas in Luxembourg, where I am a junior in highschool. My favorite camp activities are swimming in the pool, going on lake toys, and playing Gaga ball.

This is my first summer on staff but I have been going to Chestnut Ridge as a camper for 7 years! I am so excited to meet and have fun with everyone this summer. In my free time I love to dance, listen to music, play volleyball, and spend lots of time outside! At camp, my favorite activities are kayaking, ziplining, and the hoedown!I can’t wait to meet you all soon!

Hey Everyone! My name is Jack and this will be my first year on staff at CCR! I have enjoyed coming to camp 4 times since 2018 (every year I could!) and I am so excited to come back as a counselor this summer. I love spending time in nature, hiking in the mountains, or biking on trails nearby. When I'm not doing that, I attend Orange High School or Durham Technical Community College as I am a dual-enrollment student. At camp, I look forwards to playing big games on Mars and camping on Nights in the woods. I will be going into my senior year at High School next semester so I can't wait to spend this summer at camp!

I love nothing more than the ocean and making people smile :) Most of my time is spent in school, the gym, or teaching children and young adults how to swim. I’ve had so many wonderful experiences here in past years as a camper so I’m really excited to be able to share that with others. I love playing saxophone, guitar, riding horses, spending time with my dogs, drawing, and crocheting! You’ll most likely find me working with the horses or playing guitar in the worship band! I am SO beyond excited to be on the summer staff again this year after having the best time last summer and previously being a camper since I was a Mudpuppy! My favorite camp activities are morning worship and tree climbing, but my absolute favorite part about camp is all of the amazing people I’ve met and the memories I’ve made. Outside of camp, I love hiking, reading, and coaching gymnastics. I can’t wait to meet all of you and see what God has planned for this summer!

Hello everybody! My name is Tommy and I am from Essex, England. I graduated in 2022 with a degree in Modern Language Studies with French and Spanish, and since then have lived in both Spain and France teaching English from pre-school level all the way up to adults. It was while doing this I made some amazing friends, all being American, and my interest in experiencing your culture was awakened! I love animals and own an ex-racehorse called John, and am looking forward to sharing my equestrian knowledge this summer with all those learning to ride!
