One Week High School Camp
High School Campers will enjoy all of the classic camp favorites such as zipline, gaga, lake toys, and the challenge course - amped up with high schoolers in mind. Campers will spend the week in the bunk houses at camp with their fellow high schoolers.

Herpetological Research Experience
Campers will perform actual scientific field work alongside some field experts to learn about the local ecosystem at Chestnut Ridge and how to properly collect and record data. They'll get hands-on experience with the turtles, frogs, snakes, salamanders, and more from around camp. They will also enjoy many of the classic camp favorites such as zipline, gaga, lake toys, and the challenge course.

High School Horse Adventure At Averett University
Saddle Up! Riders of all skill levels will enjoy an off-site horseback adventure. Riders will start out at Chestnut Ridge and then travel to Averett University, located in Danville VA, which will serve as their base for riding and fun. Campers will stay on Averett's campus and have their meals in the University dining hall. They will spend their days receiving lessons, learning general horsemanship, and caring for the horses. Campers will also get the chance to explore the surrounding area when not riding.
Riders need to have ridden a horse before and be confident at the walk and trot. Averett University will assess riders at their facility and riding activities may vary based on skills.

2 Week High School Camp
In this 2 week program, high schoolers have the opportunity to experience all of the best that camp can offer. In addition to having the opportunity to do their favorite day and evening activities, campers will have the chance to go on a 2 night canoe trip.

Ultimate Mountain Adventure
Campers will head to the mountains of NC to experience a new adventure each day. Rock climbing, white water rafting, caving, and day hiking trips. No experience is necessary. Specialized gear will be provided.

Part of the day, campers will spend time feeding and caring for the farm animals, planting crops, gathering eggs, picking vegetables, and cooking dishes using fresh food from the farm! The rest of the day, campers participate in other camp activities such as zipline, lake toys, gaga ball and more!

2 Week Leaders In Training
For campers who have completed 10th grade and desire to learn leadership skills you can use in your community, at school or as a counselor at Chestnut Ridge. This camp includes a beautifully scenic 2-night backpacking trip, and the opportunity to certify in Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguard, a chance to plan your own camp program, a service project, lots of your favorite traditional camp activities, and more!

Rock and Raft
This is Rock and Raft high school style. Campers will embark on a 4-day adventure to the mountains of West Virginia to raft down the Lower New River and spend a full day climbing in the New River Gorge. These activities are led by trained guides who provide all specialized equipment. No experience is necessary.

1 Week Leaders in Training
Come have fun at camp while being a role model. Learn about being a leader in this introductory leadership development and training program. Campers will enjoy all of the classic camp favorites such as zipline, gaga, lake toys, and the challenge course amped up with high schoolers in mind. This camp will focus on leadership development, growing in your faith, service, and team building.

Work at camp! We are looking for energetic, creative, hardworking, community builders, who want to make the world a better place by making the Love of Christ visible. We do this by welcoming each and every person who comes to camp, through our care for creation and by building relationships with the people around us.
Staff must be turning 17 by September and have finished their junior year of high school.
