Parent's Tea

Parents of resident and weekday campers are invited to join us immediately before registration on Sunday from 3:30 – 4:00 PM for an informative Parent's Tea. Help yourself to refreshments as we take this opportunity to share what God is doing at Chestnut Ridge. We will discuss the upcoming week, how camp works, and take time for your questions and comments.  Camper check-in will follow the Parent Tea. 

*Parent Tea will not be held Aug 9th or Aug 16th 

Friday Night Celebration

Parents and family members are invited to join us for a closing celebration every Friday evening.  This very special closing will offer a time for parents, campers, and staff to share a meal, worship together, view photographs and videos, and share stories from the week. The Friday night celebration is a great way to close a wonderful week of camp. 

The closing celebration for day campers is at 5:15pm and for residential campers is at 6:30pm on Friday evening.

Digital Photos from Camp

Our digital photographer is always roving around camp, snapping candid shots of campers. It's our pleasure to share these photos with you! We generally post photos once a day (but we're not perfect). This means that you can see camp life (and maybe your camper) even while you're away!  Camp photos for each week are available for a limited time and do not remain on the website all summer, so if you see any you like, be sure to download them while you can.

Transportation

Transportation for day campers is available to and from Chapel Hill Bible Church on Erwin Road.  Chestnut Ridge staff members transport campers in camp vehicles Monday through Friday.  Campers are picked up by 7:30am each morning and dropped off by 5:40pm each evening.  Space is limited, so you must sign up for this service when you register for camp.

E-mail Your Camper

We're happy to provide the convenience of one-way e-mail to your camper. Campers typically receive the emails at dinner each night.  You can see more details here.
